Agreement and scope
By installing or using Fuel Smart, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms are between you and the developer, mordreddk. They apply to the Fuel Smart application and related app pages provided by the developer; third-party services have their own terms.
Using the app
Fuel Smart is intended to help you record vehicle, refueling, maintenance, expense, and related preference information for your personal use. You are responsible for information you enter and for checking that your records are complete and accurate. Use the app lawfully and do not misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt to compromise it, except where applicable law permits.
Information and calculations
Fuel Smart may calculate or display fuel consumption, costs, summaries, reminders, and currency conversions using information you enter and data available to the app. These results are estimates and are for general record-keeping only. They may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. Do not rely on the app as a substitute for vehicle instruments, a qualified mechanic, official financial records, or professional advice.
Exchange-rate information may be retrieved from the Czech National Bank and may not always be current or available. Confirm rates and amounts independently when accuracy is important.
Your data and privacy
The app’s handling of information is described in the Fuel Smart Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Based on the project code reviewed, logbook information is stored locally and Android system backup may apply if enabled on your device. You are responsible for keeping any records you need; do not treat the app as your sole archival copy.
Intellectual property and permission to use
The app and its design, software, name, and included materials are owned by or licensed to the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The developer grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to install and use the app for your own lawful purposes, subject to these terms. You may not redistribute or commercially exploit the app unless the developer or applicable law permits it.
Third-party services
Some app functions may rely on Android, Google Play, the Czech National Bank, or other third-party services. Those services are provided by their respective operators and may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies. The developer does not control their availability or operation.
Availability and updates
The developer may update, change, suspend, or discontinue app features. The app may not be available at all times or compatible with every device or Android version. These terms may also be updated; the current version will be published on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the app, or reliance on its records, estimates, calculations, or reminders.
